Khalia joined the BIPOC Health Careers Ecosystem team in 2023. She attended the University of Washington Majoring in Law, Societies & Justice. Khalia has experience in operations, workforce development, program management and grant management. Khalia has been writing grants for 7 years and really enjoys securing funds for non-profits making an impact. Khalia stands behind the work The Ecosystem is doing, and believes diversifying our healthcare professionals in Washington will lead to better outcomes for our black and brown communities. She believes our communities can heal us the best because they support and understand us the most. In her spare time she enjoys coaching high school volleyball, traveling, trying new cuisines, and hanging out with friends and family.
