The BIPOC Health Careers Ecosystem aims to partner with organizations around Washington State that share our vision. Below is a list of the community organizations with whom we have partnered:

Latino Center for Health

The Latino Center for Health provides leadership for community-engaged research through capacity building and authentic partnerships with community stakeholders to promote impactful improvements in the health and well-being of Latinx communities in Washington state, regionally, and nationally.

Rainier Scholars

Rainier Scholars cultivates the academic potential and leadership skills of hard-working, underrepresented students of color. By creating access to transformative educational and career opportunities and providing comprehensive support to scholars and families, we increase college graduation rates and empower new generations of leaders.

Graduate Tacoma

Today, Graduate Tacoma is more than 300 community partners strong. They are parents and educators, early learning and higher education, business and labor, youth and community service, civic and philanthropy, local government and communities of faith – all aligning their work together with Tacoma schools to impact student success.

 

Sea Mar Community Health Center

Sea Mar Community Health Centers, founded in 1978, is a community-based organization committed to providing quality, comprehensive health, human, housing, educational and cultural services to diverse communities, specializing in service to Latinos in Washington state.

Washington Permanente Medical Group (WPMG)

Washington Permanente Medical Group (WPMG) is among the largest and most honored multi-specialty group practices in the Pacific Northwest. We are nearly 1,300 physicians, physician assistants, midwives, mental health specialists, osteopaths, and optometrists focused on prevention, evidence-based practices, and patient-centered care.

WSU Native American Health Sciences

Washington State University’s Native American Health Sciences (NAHS) offers almost a dozen pathway and support programs meant to recruit, matriculate, and help Native American students succeed, who are entering into health care fields of medicine, nursing, pharmacy, pharmaceutical sciences, nutrition and exercise physiology, speech and hearing sciences, clinical psychology, veterinary medicine, and other allied health sciences.

College Success Foundation

College Success Foundation is a national nonprofit organization that helps underserved, low-income students achieve their dream of a college education through our proven model of success.

Seattle Colleges

Seattle Colleges, a multicollege district, serves Seattle and its surrounding communities at three comprehensive college campuses and five specialty training centers.

Seattle Public Schools

Seattle Public Schools, the largest K-12 school system in Washington state, has a deep commitment to every student's journey—to ensure that each student will graduate ready for college, career and life.

 

WorkForce Central of Pierce County

WorkForce Central’s mission is to steward the Pierce County Workforce Development System. We bridge the gap between job seekers, employers, and community organizations to build a robust workforce and ensure economic vitality across the region.
